Established in 1994, Spring Walk Farm is best known for giving loving care to the horses owned and boarded here.

Kathleen has a reputation for finding that special animal for you and ensuring that that horse matches your ability and personality. Safety is always a very important element and pony club basic training techniques are the focus.

Daughter Chelsea-Marie is a USPC national champ and enjoys all disciplines of riding.

Kathy SHirk, SWF's co-owner is the current trainer. She comes with over 40 years of riding and showing experience. We hope to add additional trainers in the near future. Boarders and riding students are currently accepted. Feel free to call for an appointment to tour our facilities and meet the owners and our great lesson horses.

Janice Callahan came to us in 2006 after serving as UCONN's coach for the equestrian team there for 30 years! Janice brings with her a wealth of knowledge about hunt seat, dressage, driving, breaking young horses and jumping. Please call for advanced lesson appoinments with Janice. She will give advanced Western training as well on consult. .

Carol Gibson, owner Kathy's sister, is a guest instructor and judge for camp and for some of our shows. Carol is a graduate ponyclubber with over 35 years of riding instruction under her belt.
